We said good-bye to our part-time employee Charlotte this week.  Her last day was Monday.  She will be heading off to culinary school this fall and we wish her the best!  Thanks for everything you did for SAME Cafe and for Brad and me.

We had a small group here on Thursday night from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa.  They are an energetic group of students who have come to Denver to do short internships in an Urban setting.  We look forward to seeing some of them back while they are studying in Denver.  

On Sunday, 9News posted a piece about Growing Colorado Kids, the group of African refugee children that we work with to garden in our back yard and then purchase vegetables from them.  Click here to watch the segment.
