Update
This morning one of our new volunteers came in and mentioned that she just read an article in a local school newspaper about us. I originally thought that it was the grade school in the neighborhood who came by and put us in their little paper. Then she brought out this beautiful, two page color spread from the Metrospective, Metro State (where Brad attended culinary classes) College's newspaper. It is a great article. I was hoping to find it somewhere online and create a link but I haven't been able to locate it.
Brad and I realized today that we didn't put this weeks menu and newsletter up on the blog. Better late than never.

Newsletter #12
-Not to state the obvious, but man has it been hot lately! To help beat the heat we have fired up the (finally functional) A/C, installed a beautiful little patio out front underneath the shade trees, and installed a new soda fountain system to dispense the locally made Oogave organic sodas. These are the same sodas that are served at Watercourse Foods, City O City, and VG Burgers in Boulder. Come by and try one -- we have 3 amazing flavors to choose from -- Cola, Lemon-Lime & Ginger Ale.
-A conflict came up at the location for the July fund raiser, so we have pushed things back a couple of days. The dinner/concert is now scheduled for Friday, July 27th, so keep that new date open so you can come join us! Ticket prices are set at $20 in advance, or $30 at the door. All proceeds will be split between the SAME Cafe and the Brook's Center Arts program. The exact menu and list of entertainers are still in the works, but we promise it will be well worth the price of entry! Four gourmet courses will be served while four amazing local artists show off their skills.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Don't forget -- the cafe will be closed from July 3-5 for the holiday.
-Also, just a reminder that the cafe is no longer open for dinner on Friday unless reservations are made in advance. This advanced reservation policy also applies for any weeknight, so if you have a group of 5 or more that would like to come by for dinner, give us a call!
